In July 2026, Archivio True Crime published a public episode devoted to the multidisciplinary analysis of interviews connected with the Garlasco case. The episode description independently identifies Roberto Ruggeri as a forensic audio specialist, alongside psychologist and criminologist Marco Strano and non-verbal communication specialist Lucia Codato, and describes the analysis of phonetic and paraverbal alterations in the selected interview material.

Research and Development: Phono Analytica
Roberto Ruggeri is the founder, creator and project lead of Phono Analytica, a separate project dedicated to the development of software for forensic audio analysis, acoustic and phonetic examination, metadata inspection and technical documentation.
